This year, in the Doll Museum professions, trades, vocations from reasonable to the most extravagant will be evoked by numerous toys, games and dolls drawn form the renowned Rohan collection, established in the 19th century by Herminie, the great grandmother of the present owners. This new exhibit will undoubtedly attract young and old and who knows, give rise to new vocations.
Dolls from numerous African countries, from Maghreb to Madagascar, through Egypt, Senegal, down to the Ivory Coast, to South Africa, as well as many other countries of this Continent will be on exhibit in the Museum, including the wooden fertility dolls that are characteristic in this area of the world.
More than a hundred items, old and more recent, sometimes very rare, will enable the visitor to discover countries often unrecognized by Europeans.
